Mushroom Spinach Casserole

2 pkgs spinach
1 lb mushrooms
3 tbs butter
4 tbs flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cheese or cheese spread
2 cups hot milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cover and cook spinach until wilted. Drain well. Chop and drain again.
Turn into medium sized greased casserole dish.

Cheese Sauce:
Melt butter, blend in flour and salt. Add cheese and milk and stir over heat till thick.

Spread 3/4 of cheese sauce over spinach and cover with washed mushrooms.
Cover with remaining sauce and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese over top.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour (or 375 for 40 minutes)
