MULTIPLE PACKAGING LINES
We maintain two separate 100,000 square foot facilities each with state-of-the-art packaging lines to support an extensive line of fresh and packaged produce.
LEADING EDGE TECHNOLOGY
In our ultra modern plant, we provide a liquid icing facility for broccoli and other vegetables. Iceless packing also available for major commodities.
We apply vacuum cooling technology to most products (bulk and finished), in addition to top icing and hydro cooling.
CONSTANT SUPPLY
Operating 364 days a year, we supply major retail, wholesale and food service customers in the North East. Ippolito ships commodities year-round through multiple farm locations in North America.
With our refrigerated plants, distribution centers and our fleet of refrigerated trucks, we keep the cold chain throughout the entire process to provide increased shelf life.
EXTENSIVE FOOD SAFETY
Our operations are vertically integrated from the fields through the production process and ultimately through our distribution and transportation network through to the customer. This integration allows us to ensure that our extensive food safety programs and quality control programs (including Good Agricultural Practices and LOT tracking) are followed through every step of the process. These highly effective practices have assisted our company in obtaining its HACCP certification We are committed to moving the produce industry forward and will continue to work closely with various government agencies in the development of effective HACCP / Food Safety Training programs.
